where are they from/whats the design? knowing the design would probably help people point out tips or advice from previous experience.

Got them sent from UK from Flames and Games - they are the spiral balls with the flaming centre and 'no gloves required' clause. You have to wet the outside each time before lighting up or the outer material catches fire as well. Very fiddly, but a lot of fun and looks fantastic!
