Posted: yeah, tomorrow night or even the boston thing might be good...just gotta make sure my friends are coming those nights...wouldnt want them to show up and have me not be here...actually, i was going to try to make my own poi tomorrow (i haven't done fire yet), any suggestions of places i can go around here to get stuff? i'm new to the area

Posted: well not sure what all there is in n. stonington but...for chain towel poi: you can get clips, wire, kind of not good subject to failure bulk chain and those carabeener-like rings at true-value hardware next to exit 90 off 95 in mystic or a little trip to new london you can get all of the above, plus welded type chain at homedepot in waterford (next to the crystal mall), and while over there i have found deer leather for handles (if you dont have some already) at AC Moore craft store in the new london mall which is exit 87? (not sure) the one you can see from the highway. the Target store over there next to home depot also has lamp oil. and then there is of course the sacrificial towel ...marsha stewart ones work well have not yet gotten kevlar, but all of the above should be good for that there ghetto poi Pere

Posted: well, there's pretty much nothing in n. stonington- only a gas station it seems. thanks for the tips...hopefully i'll have a fully functional set of ghetto poi tomorrow :-P

Posted: well it appears to be raining (yay!)still on for this evenin? where and when shall we go? I quite like Barn Island parking lot but it might be a bit windy but if it thunderstorms it would be nifty.Pere
