Update - My promo video and other videos of me that I've found on youtube.

My Promo - A Glimpse of Flow
A short video created from an evening of spinning at a temple in Bali. This was only meant to be used as promotional materially and I had originally intended to edit a longer video but the footage was stolen and this is all I have left. April 2009

My fire routine @ SF Decompression
An Ok example of the first routine I choreographed. October 2009

Hookahdome Jam Sunday night @ Burning Man
A side on view of my second spin from the last night of Burning Man. I much preferred my last spin but I don't know if it was filmed. September 2009

Noeltech #5: G Plane Breaking
A tutorial exampling and explaining some of the plane change patterns I have been using. May 2009

G with Flowlights in K.L.
A very nicely edited video by Thomas that we filmed at the end of a long day wandering around Kuala Lumpur. February 2009

G @ Clonakilty Juggling Convention
A short video filmed by Firepoise of a play spin I had at Ronan's convention September 2008.

Float tutorial
Filmed by Yuta at EJC Karlsruhe August 2008.

Floats with Plane Changes
Again, tutorial filmed by Yuta applying point isolation to floats to allow plane changes. August 2008

G's Graveyard Spin
Filmed by Purpleloulipop in a graveyard in Nottingham. October 2007

G & Chutney
A renegade performance with Mr Chutney and some Hyperlights at Play Festival. July 2007.

Spinning in Berlin

From an evening during the great time I had in Germany last October.

Filmed by Jaguar Mary
Edited by David Nolan

A video of a friend of mine and me spinning in a graveyard in Nottingham filmed and edited by Richard Pidgeon back in 2005 and then completely forgotten about (by me) until recently...

Awesome... Some of that stuff is stuff I've been playing with, but was never quite able to pull it off with anywhere near the accuracy or fluidity or grace... Very nice indeed, seeing it done like that is indeed exciting... Hmm... Now I can show some of my friends

"Hey, remember that ugly thing I was kinda half doing every 5th attempt the other day? This is what its meant to look like!"
"... really? You were trying to do that?"

Hmm... sorry, I have a tendency to ramble!!! grin Good stuff!

Hey guys,
thanks for the positive feedback smile

Yes I am definitely English, I just happen to be in Paris for the moment. Sorry to confuse although amusing to know I can imitate French speaking and spinning tongue2

Attaking utube indeed, although I owe a lot to friends saying "look, we'll even do all the work for you, you just have to spin".
Thanks again guys.
Planning to film more things soon and put up videos with more recent stuff smile

Ciao

Aww gee ( Pun intended ) I miss you man. ( here's Peter From Sweden ). Your fascination with the horizontal matched my own, the least to say. Lovely video, the new one. I like the stall switches and the flower downward stall/stop thingy and some other things.

Your always in such harmony man! Cheers!

wow dude.. you in the digital world!

see you next week!

hug

edit: wow dude.. i totally missed the *new* video.. i was just watching a massively old one laugh3

liking the isolated, with spin, transition from one huggy to the other, the almost isolation/stall thingos behind the back during flowers and most of the generally nerdy stuff..

that said.. i was dissapointed by a couple of things.. only 1.35 seconds of smiling, and not nearly enough poncing and/or ass waggling.. you need to hang out with dave knox more wink

nice one dude.. once again, see you this weekend hug

And don´t smile so much in the video next time, I start giggling here you know grin

Miss ya dude,a lot!

How´s it going with your poi, have you made any weights?

Maybe it's time we tried to figure out G's family tree? We will find that he doesn't have any parents rather is a genetic experiment to mix English, German, French and Swedish blood into the ultimate being which is known as "G".

However you can tell the Swedish is taking over in him tongue2 HAHA.
I miss you G. I could watch your videos for hours just for that smile of yours!

What are your plans, what events are you going to?

Truth be known,,,,he's actually Canadian.

He left several years ago to do one of those "discover your European roots" type vacations and he's apparently having little success.

He'll figure it out and return to the motherland to represent us when poi becomes an Olympic event.

Hey guys

Thanks for keeping the thread going in my absence, I don't get nearly as much time as I'd like to bimble around on-line for hours.

Well it looks as though I need to get myself several new passports then, either that or they're lots of lovely invitations for me to come and hang out in new countries smile

Well, I've completely failed to film anything while I've been in Paris. I had a camera and everything, even took out with me. Just complete lack of motivation so I guess I'm going to have to wait before I put up some of the new stuff. There just keeps being more to write down, I had Cyrille staying with me few a few days recently and I swear that boy managed to pull 10, 15 or 20 new ideas or variations out of that amazing brain of his in the few hours we had spinning in Olive's place.

There is, however, footage of the fire performance I did at Bristol on a friends camera which I'm hoping to acquire soon. Looking forward to seeing it myself as I have no idea what I did while I was on stage (very choreographed performance obviously). It's possible that the camera person was dancing whilst filming though so it may not end up being very good or maybe it'll just be amusing tongue2

Much love

He is very kindly posting me my bits in high-res, im not sure if the full show will go on line anywhere, but it would be nice....

Im sure he will help you out with some footage no worries at all.

If you get your bit make sure you put it up online here cos i want to laugh at your weak attempts at being as good as sandy at poi wink
