Also; just started yesterday and my buddy Thomas said that he never say anybody learn so fast....I am not sure what that means. It was when I was standing in the city yesterday and all of a sudden I found myself dancing wiht the poi's around me going in this smooth motion while in the morning I couldn't even do anything with one... The energy which I felt was so nice that I sort of forgot where I was, while all these people were walking by and looking at me. Some were looking like; what a freak and some girls were all laughing but to me it was all good cuz' I was in the zone.
I do alot of meditation and on one of my sessions (actually I have felt it many times) I felt like a Mauri warrior, so when I was spinning, that feeling came over me and itall felt so natural. Maybe that is the reason that I picked up so quickly?
I just love the fact that it brings me in some sort of meditations and at the same time it gives me so much pleasure and what a work out!
My energy was blocked from smoking too much erb, so when I quit(just recently)and now with the poi, it feels soo gooood.
So my next step is to find some people around my neck of the woods and I have to buy some stockings to make my own.
Last nite I borrowed the glow balls and Thomas(Kies) made some cool pictures. Yes, I am hooked!!
Posted: Thanks Dom. How long have you've been doing this? I also can juggle a bit and some devil sticks but I gave those to Thomas so he can check those out.(I don't really like those that much). Also the juggling went pretty fast to learn... Got good hand/eye coördination from playing frisbee so long(30 years).
Yeah, I hope I will meet some others. You learn so much faster and it is more fun.

You missed out the most important question though: marmite or Nutella?
Posted: ehh, staff? Nunchucks? call me clueless but didn't Bruce Lee used nunchucks? And of course it has to be Nutella. But I am more of a peanut butter guy(with sugar).
And it seems that there are no spinners in Rotterdam. Boohoo, snif snif. This is going to be hard for me.....
