How about a barcode?

You know we have barcoded ID books in South Africa, probably because most people at the voting stations can't read, so the give them a scanner instead

That's very true Neon, but it's usually easier to confuse people with BIG words.

but then again, you can confuse some people without words.

Oops, I think it's time for my medication, I'm talking nonsense again

It's made worse because you battle to understand him with that accent of his...sheesh...Northeners! ubblol

You work really hard to understand what he's saying only to find out that although what he is saying is probably quite clever, it is actually just a load of nonsence. tongue

Yes Dave, yes it is ubblol hug

When I came over to the UK from South Africa for the first time I had major issues getting used to the way people spoke in London, and learning all the slang was bad enough. Then I got a job doing telesales for a while, now trying to understand a liverpudlian on the phone, then getting a call straight aftewr from someone in scotland...man, I had never been so confused in my life! ubblol

The Irish accent is still understandable, it's when you start talking full-on Irish that I stand there looking confused, although I love the sound of proper Irish, same with Gaelic.

I guess it's because my ancestors were Irish.
