The lovely chaps at Three Worlds, Gold Coast are hosting a Fire Twirling/Dancing Competition at Currumbin Parkland, opposite Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on Sunday 17th September at 6pm.
First prize is $1000 of equipment from their percussion/firetwirling/juggling shop. There are other prizes too!
More details will be posted here in the next few days...
It will be a flexible/inclusive event with entries from
individuals and groups... Ninjas or Grasshoppers (youngsters/newbies) welcome...
Judging will be by a panel who are looking for skill in technique and performance as well as attention to safety... eg firebreathing = disqualified.
Phone or email them to register.. or post here.. it will be possible to rock up and register on the night but clearly it's better if we have an idea how many people are coming!
NOTE: this is being held at Currumbin, not Burleigh and there will be a $5 entry fee for people to come in as well as for contestants.
