i really don't know any name of any of the tricks but i can do about four different things...
i need pleny of help!!

i have very little time to practice too. i work two jobs
i was practicing up on the top floor of our multi storey car park today, and got applause from a man in a car when i clonked myself on the back of the head and legs (simultaiously!) and so i got embarrased and ran away!

im a full time student, i only have 1 job (then again, i only need 1!) and i look after my mom, brother and sister, so anytime i get to myself is bliss!
what a rude man! (although saying that, i would have probably done the same thing!)

i'll probably get some practice tonight, i'm off to see my friend Seb, who is living in Halls at the Uni at the moment and there's a really nice big patch of grass outside his block, so i'll wait until people are drunk and then play. (they seem to notice less after about 9pm for some reason!)
Seb however has had one try at poi, and damaged himself *giggle* so i doubt he'll be trying again for a while. i really need some time to get home at some point because i have teh perfect pair of socks to make some softer poi out of....

i bought my first pair of poi in london, but am getting a new pair this weekend when i go shopping for school stuff ( i know i shouldnt, but even SHOPPING for school stuff bores me! so i have to have some way of making it better!) im not sure what ones im gonna get yet, probably some fluffy ones

i'm off to a rave (legal, indoors) in a few weeks and a few people i know that do poi will be there so i want to ask them to teach me some more...
uv/glowy ones would look awesome. the ones i have at the moment are black and white tho so really, the white would glow in the uv anyway....

but then i'm moving out in october/november time and i really want like a victorian house with really high ceilings so i can practice in the house...
i don't like the rain...
obvs. the fire poi would be an outside activity.
my boyfriend has already invested in a fire extinguisher. god knows where he got it from.

a few of my friends are into juggling/diablo/contact/etc etc and a few people i know do poi so i really think when the nice weather makes an appearence i should get them together in the park or at the ressy.
i can't think of anywhere that would let me do fire poi inside, not even Kulu...

such a shame that its autumn now, isnt it?! but it doesnt mean that im not going to go on the fields and make a complete idiot out of my self infront of my friends!
im talking to some people that are into some of that stuff (as my friends didnt even have a clue what poi was until i told them, one thought it was an italian food?!) and they are starting up a kids circus (even though i dont like classing myself as a kid, i still am because i am only 15) so i might have a go at that aswell, not that i have any circus skills, but im meeting up with them, and they are going to bring loads of equiptment, so ill have a mess around with some of it and see if anything takes my fancy!
