Location: The wrong place
Hi! I'm really new at this but, considering that I'm a Leo with an Aries/Mars decanate and was born on a Tuesday (Aries/Mars again), my next logical step has to be fire dancing. Always loved the primal quality to fire dance and can't wait to get good enough to show off a bit!

nope... we went to visit the snow when I was a kid... think I was about 8...
and... I've been on 2 trips to thredbo pre-kids/family/etc for a week each time... 1st trip I skied, the 2nd trip I snowboarded... I
snowboarding... I completely suck at it, but it's *SO* much fun...had to cut the snowboarding trip short a day and a half though... got all cocky (hard to believe, isn't it?) went too fast down the last slope towards the bottom (you know the bit where it opens out in full view of EVERYONE just before you reach the village?) and I stacked it BIG time... came down really hard... was completely winded and it turned out I broke a couple of ribs... so not cool
I was laying on the snow, couldn't move... saw all these people whizzing past me... I needed help, but I couldn't move, couldn't make a sound... just had to lay there in a big heap for about 15 minutes while my body started to recover
ahhh, I wanna go snowboarding again!!

Ooooh first hand experience with the dangers of snow. Around here we can always get to the snow from late November to June. I'm use to the stuff, even though I don't ski or snowboard.

ahh, yes... msn... this would be a good time to explain me and msn...
my pc @ home is *always* switched on... and I'm *always* logged into msn... and my status is *always* set to away... cos I'm too lazy to change it...
so, my *actual* status is a bit of a mystery... I may be there or I may not... at this stage, I am not, cos I'm @ work... but you'll get used to msg'ing and getting a blank reply, everyone else does... some keep trying and some give up on me 
but I digress... where were we? ahh, yes... snow...

I honestly don't know if I could re-enter the world of study... did it for *SO* long... but, I suppose if I want a new career path (or whatever), it's inevitable at least to some extent...howdy jt... am hoping you've entered the land of dreams by now...

mmm, I agree in principle... however... in practise, I went straight from high school to undergrad degree, to grad dip to the beginnings of a masters (chucked it away early, cos I'd had enough)...
all up that's... 12yrs school + 4yrs UG + 2yrs GD + 1yr... 19 straight years of study... that's *STILL* more than half my lifetime... so I'm still on a breather...
but... never say never... I find the right alternative and you just don't know... study may look attractive again

I could never go back to "full time" school, but I find self education to be the most pleasure I can get (welllll, don't tell the misses I said that!)
Which reminds me; I am trying to get her to sign up here with her own name and meet some of you, but for some reason I am having a difficult time doing that. She seems to think that we are all slightly off the rocker!! I told her that none of us is ready for the rocker yet so how could we get off of it??

I happen to know one highly educated Aussie with a talent for song that I haven't even been able to get on yet, so can't quite get off now can I!!!

I'm still working on her. I think part of it is she doesn't want to be the "old lady" around here

Tell her that she doesn't have to advertise her age, and if she doesn't claim you (
) we will never even be able to guess how old she is. Note to Mrs JT. There are other people here in there 40's, or are you still in your 30's?
