Hello James. I'm not sure whether to keep this username or not.

I've updated my intro thread accoringly anyway.

See you tonight, or are you going to Rocksteady? I've lost my mobile by the way.

Like the way their board doesn't seem to keep crashing tho.

Is you name a homage to Mr C?

I found a copy of Boss Drum on vinyl in a charity shop for £1 a few weeks ago. Hows that for value for money!

My name is more of a homage to shamanism than that 80s band.

Think that was the reason for their name to.

It's actually shaman, rather than the shamen.

but it appears that name is in use here.

if you need a mountain moving tho, i'm yer man!

Was there more intermingling at the last meet?

ie the one that no one bothered to tell me about (until about 2 hours into it), or consider offering me a lift to... rolleyes

Only the one a few weeks ago it was all random factions - us lot, seye's lot and a bunch of random scally, hippy creatures (plus a realy scary looking escaped convict) that gathered round Ree and occasionally shot us odd glances....

Plus Brit_Joe flitting in between everyone, failing to thread the needle and offering round dubious tasting fruit pastilles...

Or was all that my imagination?

I'm one of your friendly neighborhood moderators, if you need anything, let me know.

Chances are, being from the U.S. and all that I won't be making a party there anytime soon, but I will sure as hell raise a pint (or a Smirnoff Twist really) for ya anytime! beerchug

I didnt go to the last one - Had a few too many for Simta's birthday redface

The last one I was at was the one that my girlfriend and housemate came to. I think they was a little confused by being introduced to so many people all at once. I'm sure next time there will be more intermingling hug

I'll make sure that I let you know about the next one in plenty of time and we can try to make it better. We need to try to get everyone to be a bit more active though. Most of the people at that meet just sat under the arches smoking and eating pizza. Maybe we could get bullwhips or something ubbidea wink
