Temperature in New York City was about 100F (39C) and humid. More tomorrow.
I can't get the temperature in my apartment below 85F (30C) in spite of 21,000 BTU's of cooling power. It's still 88F (32C) outside so I can't even open the windows to help the machines out.
It's disgusting...

Yeah, its 103+ for the entire next week. Went out to the park to play around with my toys (barefoot as always) It wasnt the smartest thing to do. Burned my little feetsies a bit and got to hot to want to spin anything real quick.

Someone invited me to sleep in their air conditioner, er, you know what i mean! Anyway, tomorrow I am taking them up on that!!!

Yes, far too hot. I'm quite glad we've got air conditioning at work, but I still don't want to be here all day when it's so sunny outside.

to cool your house you need the air to flow through from one side out the other --you all come from places that the houses are made for the cold and as for sleeping get a damp shirt or summing and put it on your back -works like a dream

It's like a bloody meat-locker at work! They've just re-installed the air-conditioning about nearly a year of breakdown but I don't know if the people in charge of the thermostat have noticed the amount of people wearing jumpers and cardigans at work when its 30C outside!

We have no air con at work yet, converted the upstairs into offices just before christmas, so we've not really needed it until now.
I'm all sticky and damp,(not in the good way either Dave!)
And I'm only sitting at a desk.

I'm not looking forward to getting on the underground after work with all the other sweaty commuters. Might have to go sit in a pub for an hour or so and wait for things to quieten down.
Don't worry Doc, although it's 42 degrees in NYC today it's supposed to drop to 24 tomorrow... maybe there's a storm coming?

It's 30 degrees here in Ireland and I'm loving it, the novelty of not having to bring a raincoat when you leave the house in the moring!!! I'm definately not going to moan about the heat we only get a few weeks every year of good wheather so I'm really enjoying it.

I'm only moaning about the heat cos I have to travel to and from work in it on sweaty tubes...
If I could teleport there'd be no issue.
According to the evening standard it's 47 degrees on the underground and 52 on the buses. Cattle are not allowed to be transported in temperatures above 27 degrees because it's considered cruel to the animals...

I think I suffer from SAD so I'm GLAD the sun is finally out. The intense heat is a price we pay...
British people in general will always find something to moan. But with the Winter vs Summer thing - how many things are you not able to do/places you can't get to because of the Summer weather?

I cant function in hot weather. I LOVE
the sunshine and blue skies 
but I actually just cant function! It's horrible, its like my body just shuts down and i end up feeling like crap!! D'oh!And yes, Rouge me too!!
