Ok, it's creepy. I know that some of these games work based on everyone getting the same answer, but in this one, I can always get a different answer and I don't get how the game knows what it will be.
Computer geeks? Help?

The fist time i did it, it din't work but it got the better of every time since,....

Ok it got my second one wrong, so i chose the same number for the third test and it got it. So in all it got 3 out of 4 so what i'm wondering is if someone like yourself Doc can explain it to me seeing as tho you are so "smart" cause its got me stuffed.

Not statistics, just basic math, if you take any 2 digit number (above 10, ie not 02, 06 etc) then add the 2 digits together, then subtract that number from the original, the answer will always be divisible by 9, therefore all numbers on that symbol chart that are divisible by 9 will all have the same symbol... and hey presto thats the symbol that pops up...
(Sorry if I spoiled anybodys delusions of mind-reading computers...)

Moka! NO NO NO!!! That's not how it works!
It actually downloads a program onto your computer that senses changes in electrical capacitance in your monitor caused by the reflection of light off of your retina and back to the monitor. Thus, it can sense where your eyes are staring at the screen.
Programs like this are being developed by the NSA to keep an eye on terrorists by allowing us to spy into their rooms through their computer screens.

It did get it wrong, my maths are not top notch but for once it didn't fail me. But the symbol it gave me first time was not the right one cause it gave me the right symbol the 2nd time!!!!

Ok i give in, i just realise the symbols change, so when i thought it was wrong it was with the next test so it probably was right. *pulls head in and shuffles off to the corner* Stupid game!!!

Yes but without knowing which number you're basing the calculation on how does it get it right? It doesn't just pick the same symbol every time, so it can't just be a mathematical thing.
ie if two people do it & pick different numbers, it only gets one right, so surely if I'd just picked the other number instead it wouldn't get it?

No no no. Suppose the sign you pick is the *cancer* symbol. If you look carefully, *EVERY* multiple of 9 has a *cancer* symbol.
Because all correct calculations of this sort lead to a multiple of 9, the program forces you to pick the symbol that it's going to show you.
But it confirms it by retinal reflection.
