Hi all you beautiful spinning people!!!
After all this time living anonymously amongst you, I finally felt the urge to introduce myself.
I live in the beautiful coastal city of Ostende in Belgium
I was born on the 10th of October 1975
I'm currently a ppl manager in an interim agency, but I'm a journalist and writer at heart.
I'd kill for Thai food, but my all time favourite has to be eating grey shrimp accompagnied by a freshly served Rodenbach on a terras in the sun.

I know, when I go to London, I always fill my rucksack with Hoegaarden, Kriek and Duvel.
I gets stopped by customs each and every
time, but only got in to trouble once when they wanted to cut open the pralines I bought for my friends mother...Evil b&stards...
Got through customs though WITH my pralines uncut. hehe...

hah, I bet they just wanted to confiscate them and eat them themselves, knowing customs people!
The only time people wanted to have a look at MY rucksack was in Belfast. But that's because they thought I was coming from Amsterdam, not Edinburgh - flight was early and I guess people with rucksacks are potential dealers

Strange though how there is absolutely no customs from Great Britain to the mainland (when I used to go by boat)
Once I came back from a weekend partying in London (naturally I looked like a trainwreck --- almost no sleep in 3 days) and when I got out my ticket a pack of long rizzla's fell on the counter. I grinned sheepishly and was preparing myself for the customary "can you step aside for a moment sir?" , but the woman at the counter just looked at my ticket, winked at me and let me pass...
What's to smuggle from Britain to the mainland anyway?

last time I came back from Ireland there wasn't even a passport control... there was one the other way though. No idea what the rules for that are...
smuggling from the UK?
- cider
- excessive amounts of Trebors Extra Strong Mints and Mint hot chocolate powder (and recently AERO MINT hot chocolate powder, YAY!)
- Irn Bru (while not exactly illegal it probably should be)
- Whiskey and lots of it. And whisky, without the "e", too

Hahahahaha! That's the BESTEST description of its flavour I've ever heard! I don't think there's anything citrus about it at all. It's definitely quite artificial. But nice. If you can get it in the glass bottles get it in the glass bottles because it tastes better out of them than from plastic.
Ewwww I'm feeling horrible and dizzy today. Maybe I should have some irn bru, too.

recipe:
1 tall glass
2 eggsies
2 shots vodka
few drops of tabasco
few drops worchester sauce
juice of half lemon
champagne or cava or other fizzy wine
icecubes
put everything in tall glass
drink
get in bed with rest of champagne. Sleep it off

I overslept today
For the first time in about a year's time I didn't hear my alarm clock and just slept...
I managed to do some damage control (I hope)

And it got nasty to fast to soon. Some of my friens have a cottage there where they sell Havana rum.
Sooooo, we were drinking 9 year old Cuban rrhum and Stella Artois the whole night. Just having a good time. Do you know the feeling where you go
"this can't be right" you put your fists in your eyes and you look again at your watch... And then it hits you... "Oh, feck, I need to get some sleep, STAT!"Sooo, I went home, slept like a log, woke up, one eye open and looked at my alarm clock and saw 08.21 and at first didn't realise I had to work today. Then I had that feck feeling again, tried to stand up wayyyy to fast, fell over (still a wee bit drunk), hit my head, crawled to the shower, washed and even managed to shave
All I can say is "hooray for coffee!!!"
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm about to post in the social "I'm officially drunk thread"
