hi all
first poi burn last night and - oh my god!- hooked. i've been messing around with socks and some LED kiddie poi i got at the shopping centre, but it's just soooo much better with flames! plus, i only set fire to a little bit of my hair, so that was a bonus
i got on to twirling through my brother in law and some mates. they had poi, short staffs and snakes but cause it was a few days before my wedding, i only played with one staff and spectated- i don't think mum would have ever forgiven me if i walked down the aisle with singed hair. but now i have my own cylinder poi and i'm ready to go. atm, its just me and hubby in our front yard so i'm interested in finding out more about the perth (Straya) scene, especially SOR.
