First post, so an introduction.
I've been following HOP for a while now, since I became interested in poi a while ago. Last year I attended my first Burning Man and tried my hand at last, which was great fun. Living out in Borneo as I was at the time, there was no-one to learn with or from, but I've recently moved back to London and look forward to meeting people to play with. Hopefully will be at Clapham this Sunday.
So, on with the questionaire:

Hobbies other than the obvious: Triathlon, running, cycling, climbing, skydiving
Education: Degree in Geology which I used for a career and then got out of.
Favorite Book(s): Way too many.

Silent Running Probably the best Sci Fi film ever. If you don’t cry at the end, you’re not human.
The man who would be King Sean Connery and Michael Caine. Two of my favourite actors
The Italian Job Caine again
Out of Africa because the visuals take me right back to the months spent out in the bush.

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up): RUn my own massage business somewhere near the mountains, live in an off-grid eco house that I plan to build myself and spend 2-3 months a year doing disaster relief work around the world.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Way too many to list. I like most things.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Vanilla, but only REAL vanilla. And chocolate.

Well the wife would have to be consulted mind you we're living 8000 miles apart right now with her working in borneo till the end of the year, but I'm always happy to accomodate people in need.
