First post, so an introduction.

I've been following HOP for a while now, since I became interested in poi a while ago. Last year I attended my first Burning Man and tried my hand at last, which was great fun. Living out in Borneo as I was at the time, there was no-one to learn with or from, but I've recently moved back to London and look forward to meeting people to play with. Hopefully will be at Clapham this Sunday.

So, on with the questionaire:

Name: Justin
Country: UK
Hometown: London
DOB: 10/12/65
Age: 40, going on 22.
Sex:Male
Occupation(s): Massage Therapist
Favorite Food(s): Most of them.
Favorite Color(s): Blue and Yellow.
Toys: Poi.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Triathlon, running, cycling, climbing, skydiving
Education: Degree in Geology which I used for a career and then got out of.
Favorite Book(s): Way too many.
Favorite Movie(s):
Silent Running Probably the best Sci Fi film ever. If you don’t cry at the end, you’re not human.
The man who would be King Sean Connery and Michael Caine. Two of my favourite actors
The Italian Job Caine again
Out of Africa because the visuals take me right back to the months spent out in the bush.
Blade Runner
Breakfast at Tiffany’s Audrey Hepburn, wibble.
Withnail & I
Apocalypse Now
The Quiet Man Best John Wayne film, and so different from all the westerns
Fifth Element A visual feast
Matrix A new form of film
The Lost Boys
The Breakfast Club
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Ok, last 3 due to being an early 80’s teenager.
Laurence of Arabia Oh they don’t make them like this anymore
The Crow
The Magnificent 7
True Grit not bad for a fat old man.
Life of Brian. It just doesn’t get any funnier than this.

I could go on, but that’s a good list to start

Favorite TV show(s): Don't own a TV, but currently watching the West Wing on DVD
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up): RUn my own massage business somewhere near the mountains, live in an off-grid eco house that I plan to build myself and spend 2-3 months a year doing disaster relief work around the world.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Way too many to list. I like most things.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Vanilla, but only REAL vanilla. And chocolate.

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
