Just watched it, cool effects (I liked how the sword trails showed up) and the music's catchy and fits well.
Would probably preferred to have seen longer individual scenes and less cuts, to showcase the poi, sword work a bit more.
Overall, a good watch- good work.

Impressions after first watch:
I almost want to say I like 0.9 more. This one is definately edited better - No white walls peeking in, no noticable screw ups. However, it seemed a bit too dark. The music was a downgrade IMO (I really liked the music from 0.9), and I feel like the poi were too. These poi weren't as bright (also part of being too dark) and seemed to blend too much with your costume whereas the orange ones sorta complimented it.
Overall its a tight video but I just wish it were more like 0.9 in some ways. Guess that just means I gotta watch both to satisfy the craving.

That was wicked! I really enjoyed it, but then I liked 0.9 a lot too. My only gripes are that I wish it had been a bit longer with less cuts. I liked that there was a lot more body movement in this one, and you seemed to be enjoying yourself a lot more
my favorute effect is the bit on the lightsaber about 4:00 - that looked awesome!
I think this vid goes quite nicely with 0.9 as well

definitely NOT the response i was expecting. although the moves were basically all the same stuff i thought the spinning was much better in this one, as far as musicality and dance.
the dark thing, well, that's actually happening from the compression, i think later
i'll try to compress it differently to make it brighter. can you see me at all, like my makeup, etc.?the footage was actually cut up from straight through routines- it was a struggle for me to not just put them straight up, but i decided to go for artsy clips. maybe 1.2 will have editless runs.

I really really liked that. The music was fab. I love watching you do things that i think are quite within the realms of a normal person, then i try what i think i've seen and it's no-where near.

Indeed the spinning was a bit cleaner in this vid, but the change in poi, music, and overall brightness was disappointing. The orange poi in 0.9 were great because they stood out against your costume. In that way, they would be the focal point most of the time, until you would open your arms and shake your ass for a few seconds which would then grab our attention. The music wasnt horrible, but again, I really liked the track in 0.9. This song didn't strike me in the same way. And the darkness of the vid made everything just seem dull. You couldnt see the elaborate detail or colors of your costume. I cant see your makeup for crap (in fact, your face looks blurred out most of the time).
As I said, the vid is still good for what it is. If I never saw 0.9 Id probably have no problems... Aside from unmet expectations

I don't really see the complaints from .9 to this.. I mean yeah its darker, but the lack of brightness seemed to enchance it for me.. it made me appreciate what I did see more, rather than these bright contrast colors.. Everything here was more uniform.. the orange poi wouldn't have gone well, since you didn't have 'color' to your outfit (or you) this time.. this was UV not UV and light..
the part with the saber around 1:50ish.. I had a flashback to FF7..
the spinning was a lot cleaner, it filled out the video a bit more, and definately seemed more cohesive, and less 'flailing' like the other one had.. I thought there were some places that were kind of sketchy, but I'll come back to those when I don't have such a hard hangover.. The spinning overall was a lot more of what I guess I had *cough* expected *cough*...
yeah I know what we all wen tthrough with expectations, but if you have no expectations, than you don't really have a lot of motivation to do things either.. like watch some vids.. hehe.. I defiantely gotta back up everyone else by saying you definately seemed more comfortable and natural in this one.. you didnt seemed worried about the camera, and as far as the spinning was concerned, I didn't feel that you even cared where the camera was in relation to you most of the time.,.. I like that.. It gives the impression that I'm watching someone spin, not perform..
Though the spinning was cut up, I still got a sense of what the entirety would have been like.. that was also pretty cool..
can't really say anything about the music.. I don't ever watch videos to music.. Partly because my pc is hooked to my surround sound, and I've usually got something else playing through it at the time.. and partly because what I'm interested in is never the sound.. I understand the role it plays in many videos.. but I'm just weird like that..
but yeah.. those are my initial thoughts..

I liked this vid. I liked the other one. They are both good. I think you should edit the two together in a rather cunning way.
I can't work out if you were doing som body waves and stuff in this one or not... A few bits near the beginning lok as though you're body waving... Anyway... the wave down the body is nice, but I would suggest to work on the arm waves a bit more. but then, I'm constantly watching all these waving videos where people's various body parts move in really weird an wonderful ways... So I might just be being pedantic... I don't know
On the lighting and such side of it: I loved it. but then, I love videos shot under UV light...
there was some really cool lightsabre stuff in there...
