as ive been a member of hop since 2004 i think its about time i introduced myself. well am 29 from leigh/lancs area been into poi for awhile although am still learning basic moves cause i give up to easy but ive decided am gona practice more this year. have 2 children who also do poi & staff , D who is 11 year old and and lil'meg whos 9, whos asked for fire poi for her 10th birthday (whats your opinion,to young ?)
first came across poi at volkswagen feastivals where they have a poi circus spent a lot off time with them this summer and lil'meg could be joining in there shows this year

what vw fest did you go to??? i went to one last summer in norfolk that was ok.................apart from the rain

Yeah I don't think age really comes into it. As long as she's mature enough not to get in a strop and throw them at someone or whatever, and as long as she's good enough. One thing's for sure, a sober 10 year old is safer than a drunk 20 year old.

didnt go to that one when was it? ,went to most of the others apart from run to the sun. are you in to vws?
