After seeing a photo as I logged in I am under the impression that there might be appearance of Green LED beaming Poi.

It isnt clear by looking at the HoP shop as to wether the beamers are just green plastic (with the same Red LEDs I already have) or wether they have green leds in them.

Yours confused but thinking what a good idea a set of green beamers would be, mark p xx

PS hello everyone been a little while but I should be back for a little while m smile x

FRDs first encounter with beamers smile

*FRD is handed a pair of beamers by his stepdad*
Stepdad: Here you go buddy, swing these around. But whatever you do, don't hit your knees... it hurts like hell.

*FRD repeats in his head "Don't hit your kness, don't hit your knees"*

*FRD hits his kness and spends the next few hours rolling on the floor.*

well there is nothing like hitting yourself with a set of beamers smile

I however have owned a set for a few years now and after some situations where I think I may have caused slight concussion with them in the beginning, I now know and reapect the little buggers. In fact I have actually learnt a lot with them and I would recomend that any spinner who is thinking about starting with fire for the first time has a play with a set of beamers before their first light up.

They teach you a lot, a little pain is not a lot compared to what could ensue after a collision with a fire poi. . .

Yet to knock myself out with em . . .

Sure there is.
-Kidney stones
-Childbirth (I'm told)
-Unfortunate encounters with cinder blocks
-Etc... wink

I gotta disagree here. A beamer can do some serious danger (fractured bones if it's going fast enough...and a good going bonk to the head could even cause an intracranial bleed.

Fire poi can hurt you, too. Mostly burns. But with fire the chief danger is to your surroundings, such as poi flying off into trees/dumpsters/the fuel dump/etc.
