the point i was trying to illustrate was that your timing is good, therefore you don't see any benefit in working on spinning split-time.

I dont know why this thread makes me sad, but it does. I certainly dont feel like picking up poi and doing heaps of practice 'drilling the basics'. Ah well.

josh - - it's not a sad thread. It's good, useful, positive and enlightening to understand/drill basics if you want to. If not, just roll about in the sunshine and try not to do it on any thistles.

Ok kinda hijacking this thread, cos i got another pretty basic move that i discoverd i cant do, and i bet there are a few people here who are the same, ok....................you ready?...................................... REVERSE 2beat weave, i can do 2,3,4,5 forwards, and 3 reversed, but not 2, try it, it is confusing

I think you're missing the point slightly, to do that move is very very easy, to do that move with good timing is very very hard, this thread is ALL about timing and precision.

So, after reading the question, viewing the clip, and then reading through the thread, I went back to watch the clip again, and I noticed that the clip itself is not shown to have the spinner with poi 180 degrees apart..... So should the question be "can you do this move perfectly?" and then who get's to decide what perfectly is?
