For the first time ever, Australia’s largest dance music and lifestyle festival will be coming to QLD in full outdoor tour mode. Many of you have been making the Victorian pilgrimage to attend this annual event, but now it is scheduled to happen in our own backyard!

The thunder from down under brings it monster martian death ray to Brisbane! Earthcore's main floor will unleash an open-air all star international lineup from dusk till later than dawn......

Set on a lush 1000 acre property little more than 60 minutes from Brisbane, this international extravaganza will encompass the best of live and electronic music for a full twenty four hours of non-stop entertainment.

Full market precinct, camping, workshops and other festival frolicking amidst three stages of performance, an impeccable production and enough weird stuff to throw chooks at.

Thanks for the tip, I found that thread on Google of all places!. There is some fantastic energy there! Just thought that I would separate the event info, because one is QLD and one is VIC and they're both HUGE - but feel free to cut n paste etc.

Just confirming that at least 2 of SOLAR shall be there - and the other 2 are trying to bring forward their flights from Asia.
REALLY Looking forward to meeting up with all those lovelies I have met already and all those friends not yet met!
I have a feeling this is going to be a special time.
I'll be bumping post Jet Lag, but SHALL find the right space to enjoy to the fullest and put on a great show.

Hey That's great, I'll get to meet you! HoP meetup.. nah, let's have a HoP camp together! I have a HUGE tarp that I take camping and I'll have gold and silver glitter feathers coming out the top of the poles...spare tents... there'll tons of room to fit you in! Is Josh coming too?

I mailed off my market stall application today - for henna, and body paint (in metallics, glitter, UV and regular) et cetera et cetera. Feel free to drop in and hang out for a while: just look for the "harem tent" you'll know it when you see it!

i need some advice on what might seem to be a silly question (don't laugh, i've never gone for a bush doof before):



what i should be bringing and what that really dosen't need to be brought along.

I've been out camping before (more times that i'd like to have gone)... problem is that i don't really have any idea what to expect there.



ie: i was going to follow my usual camping routine and bring along enough drinking water (too heavy) for the whole weekend or bring puri-tabs (water tastes funny)... but then it isn't as if we're out in the middle of some rainforest, so is there really a need to bring a supply of fresh water. I guess they'd be selling water there, but then paying something like $4 per bottle isn't exactly what i'd like to be doing...

also wondering the same thing about food & shower facilities & anything else that i might have missed...

I think they are all very reasonable questions and you;ve made me start asking them too! How about we phone the organisers and ask them... then we can put some useful info up here for others... I know I will bring at least some drinking water with me... cos I'm driving up there...and I usually take far too much comfort zone stuff... teapots and whatnots.... so come over for a cuppa!

i guess i'd still pack some extra drinking water just incase...

BTW, to anyone who was planning to take the bus (like me), apparently the bus has been canceled due to lack of bookings...

Greetings people

Hope all you Earthcorers are getting excited - we certainly are looking forward to meeting you guys and shall be performing part of our set there. We shall be arriving in Sydney 31/11 and although we are trying to sort out buying a vehicle - we dont want to rely on that, so if any of you are driving via there around the 1/12 we'd be very grateful for a lift. A free ticket would be yours as a BIG thank you. We have 4 going spare as part of our agrrement to do shows, so PM me if you would like one.

We are also looking for camping gear if you have any spare.

Amazingly amazing!! More and bigger and definitely better!
Convoy possible, maybe meet in Kilcoy ... drive up the last bit together... there will be 2 cars going from our place anyway. I am planning getting there pretty soon after gates open...2pm Friday....get nice campsite for everyone with my lovely big tarp and all...
