If you've got a scart lead, the TV should turn on to the AV channel automatically when the peripheral (computer, DVD) is turned on??

how about behind the tv or stand sometimes i stick my remote on the tv and knock it off and it goes behind. that's a pain cause then i gotta pull out the whole unit.
