I'm toying between three cars to buy:

Nissan Figaro (a car with character)
Ford Puma (a car with flair)
Vauxhall Tigra (a car with stlye)

Not a generic car thread, which one's better?

Get a Toyota Sera...rare and gorgeous...hehehe

Don't go with the ford...ford's break down a lot in the middle of nowhere.

But that's my personal opinion only.

Yeah I kept seeing these randomly around London over a few months and couldn't for the life of me find out what they were. I kept telling everyone about them but they had no idea either.

THEN, one weekend I saw two in the space of five minutes on my way home then when I got to my front door BANG, there was one parked outside my gaff - had to by Exchange and Mart just to find out it's name.

the pumas are very very good. If you can afford get the racing puma although they are extremely rare. The tigra's are lovely but have the same plastic feel as other vauxhalls. When i looked for a new car it was a toss up between a puma, a tigra and a 206. I got a lush 206 but in hind sight i wish i'd got one of the other two. Every person i know that has had a puma has regretted getting rid of it so that would be a good choice.

I'm with Dunc, that car has character!

Personally they're all too small, never fit a zweihander in any of 'em! I'm after a second hand 4*4 with the most luggage space I can find! Any suggestions? (And no Jeep Cherokee's)

I got to spend all summer in Japan last year, and saw a fair few Japanese cars. I was really impressed with how good they look, inside and out, the newer ones are completely different to anything over here.

The engines in Japanese cars also seem to be a lot more efficient, probably because there are really tight restrictions on polution in Japan because of the sheer size of Tokyo.

You don't have to worry about power from these things either, anyone who thinks you need a huge SUV with a 5l engine for offroad hasn't been in a 500cc Suzuki 4WD minivan, ripping up a steep and muddly mountain track with a heavy load of sound system gear in the back.

You aren't thinking or really existing unless you're willing to risk even your own sanity in the judgment of your existence.

Sorry but NO NO NO to the Nissan.

Do you know who one of the first owners in the UK was (back when it was a grey import)? Vanessa Feltz.

If its good enough for Vanessa, its a no go for me wink

Do not get ANY of them.

Puma : Showy and silly
Tigra: Hardressers car
Nissan: Just dont

Buy something cool like a Vauxhall Nova biggrin

In all seriousness though, see if you can find a diesel, I had a diesel Fiesta once, and it was soooooo cool and very reliable. It was an N reg too, and would still be here if I hadnt crashed the sonofabitch.

I now drive an Astra, but only cos i bought it for 1/2 the going rate...
