Greetings!
My name is Phildas, I am a yogi, drummer, martial artist from London UK.
I recently taken up POI and its wickeed!
My Stick fighting and drumming skills are good help in control and technique for POI, and getting good at POI also help in the other way, opening new possibilities!

Sounds like you've got a good poi headstart with the martial arts and stuff. Have you had a go at staff? Once saw a martial-arts trained friend pick up a firestaff and though he was a non-fire twirler, it seemed he'd been doing it for years!
