Everytime I cook I should just post here, which is pretty bad, because I've been in the food industry my entire life lol. My girlfriend finds it strange that I can add so many spices to my scrambled eggs that they look like ground beef biggrin

uh... well there was this one notorious pancake making session, during which such culinary delicacies as raisin pancakes, mango pancakes, banana pancakes, ketchup pancakes, i think there was a peanut butter one, and possibly a chocolate spread one (this was a while ago now). The instant coffee one was a mistake.. a great big huge mistake...

but not quite as huge as the "MEGA" pancake, which was intended to use the rest of the pancake mix, and a bit of all the above ingredients, plus god knows what else that was kicking around... it was a bit fat to say the least, and we proceeded to burn it..... i'm proud to say it made at least three people gag. biggrin

Peanut butter pancakes are the best thing I ever woke up to! I was at my friends house after a long night of dancing, and I woke up on a couch and there were my friends with a big plate of pancakes and a jar of peanut butter and a spoon! So I put 1+1+spoon together and had breakfast biggrin

Yesterday at work the pastry chef tried to make old school homestyle doughnuts. They tasted great but the owners said they weren't quite italian, so we had a nifty free lunch instead biggrin

we made a pancake for LATE breakfast on a frypan that had been used to cook chiken with earlier that day. Enter the green chiken pancake.
we're not quite sure why it turned green, and later found out why it tasted like chiken, but i wouldnt really recomend it for human consumption.

buon appetite, pete biggrin

Pancakes are the best to experiment with! Once i melted loads of chocolate to see how much i could get in a pancake.... it was a bit sickly in the end. redface
