. Hey how's it going?
Haven't gone skating or rockclimbing in a bit, but that's ok- life's full of wonderful distractions, and really, you can only do a couple at a time.
. Have I mentioned how wonderful it is, you so ought to visit *nudge*
Also been getting out the with photography and stuff- a couple of projects to follow up on, blue skies and puffy clouds as far as I can see.
Life has a funny way of messing you about doesn't it.. so no 2nd body for me just yet, or nice 24-105 f4 IS
]
.. but yeah.. lots of work to be done meantime.
.. a best friend
, and enough distractions not to get bored for too long.
And mm.. I'm still not too close to balletic, and dulcet..

I've been exploring this site a bit lately, and have decided everyone seems like a nice bunch- thought it's about time I said hello. Ryan, 24, born in Singapore, but Brisbane Australia has been home to me for the past 3 years.
I love photography, playing the guitar (if one took a picture of me with my guitar, it looks like I'm playing it- does that count?), getting from point A to B on my trusty mountain bike, inline skating and hockey, occasionally rockclimbing, and just being in good company. I'd also like to add poiing to the list when I stop hitting myself senseless.
Irrelevantly, my two favourite words (I've got heaps if anyone's interested) are 'balletic' and 'dulcet'. 'Balletic', unfortunately, isn't a word I'd use to describe anything I can do, and 'dulcet' is a word I haven't dreamt of aspiring towards yet.
Enough for now, don't be strangers!![]()
Hey, most people are snapping turtles getting ungodly-hour wake up calls. The Whitlams were on sunrise today? Ack. Didn't know. Though. Having seen Tim live in the mall, I think I'll survive to their gig in May
Not sure if you watched Catch Me If You Can with Leonardo Di Caprio and Chistopher Walken, but there was a scene where Leo was impersonating a doctor, and the only 'medical' word he knew was 'concur'- he went on to concur with everything I though it was hilarious.
Actually.. I'm not sure I looked too closely- had the urge to move on..
it was blowing quite strong in the bay today!! & las time i looked at the bureau of meterology website, cyclone wati was about 600kms off fraser island...which sounds like a long way, but it's really not! & hervey bay is pretty much parrallel to fraser!
i'm going to the coast on sunday & then back to the murg on monday!!
do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good to eat!
if at first you do succeed, try not to look too astonished!
smile! it confuses people!

Will prolly head down after Medium. Won't be there too long and shouldn't take too long either. Exciting huh.

) Just came back and had a shower.. taking it easy for now, might go for a swim later. Looking forward to the party. For now.. need to find me a drink

The getting drunk bit's ok- the hangovers are kinda sucky. Might go waterskiing tomorrow, but depending on hangovers
Being too drunk's never fun anyway- need to be with it enough to appreciate the hilarity of other drunk people
Do you concur?

I like paucity muchly.. It's so nice to say in a slightly drawn out manner. Veracity I like, but again.. the context it's in- they usually refer to its contended nature
Any new word projects lately?

proposal for book of erotic crosswords sent off to the publishers.
It involves words/spelling too. Most of that one is still in the planning /logistics stage. A certain brilliant very talented Poi guy in the UK is helping me figure out the structural plastic engineering aspect, thankfully. Then we shall see... But I will reserve one of the first pairs for you!

I saw 'Ms Dubois' and the first thing tha comes to mind is Mrs Durbs, and got lost for a second.. Ms Dubois' hubby is a bit frustrating though. I mean, he knows she's got some inexplicable psychic power, but every episode he's all surprised and skeptical again
House is pretty watchable too, but it's no Medium.. or Ed.. or Gilmore Girls

How'd your birthday go?
Job hunting- slow.. sent another application out today, for one I REALLY want. Crossing my fingers, but it's looking like a bit of a long shot..
What can ya do but hope eh?
Did play with the idea of spinning them, but they are a bit heavy..
? What happened? Hope everything's ok..

Came from a book of interesting words Lou gave me.. some of the entries.. *shakes head*
You'd think I'd come back refreshed, but I came back tired and a bit out of it. Guess that's what a big weekendcan do to you. Need to get motivated and actually do stuff this week..
Oh well. Was a beautiful weekend and was spoilt with copious amounts of fantastic canapes! One of the best ones was nectarines marinated in balsamic vinegar for a day, topped with mascarpone cheese and wrapped with prosciutto.. omg..
I bet you'd have loved it..
