Try looking for an official london website or something...
quick search - www.londontown.com
or www.london.gov.uk
Hard to know whats worthwhile telling you about london, but those sites may have some interesting stuff...havent checked them out myself tho.
Errr... (trying to be more helpful)..Its the political and economic centre of our country...which makes it a key city in the world...thats soemthing pretty much everyone knows
