Hey there everyone,

Well, now that I'm close to post number 300 I thought I'd do an intro thread... it seems like I'll be hanging around for a while now biggrin

Edit:

Yep, this is all changed cos I'm not feeling as sentimental as I was when I wrote the last intro.

I'm 28, live outside Belfast in Northern Ireland, run the fire performance group FirePoise (www.firepoise.com), like to travel and good music.

My myspace page is www.myspace.com/clarepalmer

Take care

bye

There's nothing like a bit of unadultered gore and freakiness to get the adrenalin going.

I love movies... particularly movies that get some kind of reaction (isn't that what they are supposed to do?)

Saw scared the living daylights out of me (I went to the cinema by myself and got completely into it), but it wasn't so good on DVD.

28 Days Later (and of course, the classic that is Halloween rolleyes) is the other horror that makes me jump.

I've heard Saw II isn't too bad.

I dunno... maybe I'm just warped and twisted ( smile ) but I like watching these films for that reaction - it's not real! Also, it's interesting to see how the director builds the suspense and kills off the cast in an original and non-computer generated way.

Lol, goddam, there I was trying to start an interesting discussion about films and the willing suspension of disbelief...

I was trying to juggle rings last night (since we're discussing nocturnal activities).

Too easy

I was thinking of creating an anti-junk mail program

If it gets some unwanted e-mail it hurls it back to the sender and sticks in their PC

I think I'll call it "Spam Javelin"

Have you tried combing staff and hoop at the same time?

Oh good god.

I need to get a boyfriend. Or at least get out of the house more.

Far too much tension building up in this thread.

And Durbs... I'm pretty sure it's combining, as opposed to combing... which is an entirely different website altogether biggrin

I don't know what you're talking about...

I was looking at this cool thing on Iwantoneofthose.com
It's a tiny little cue, a load or really small balls and a teensy little table. It's all designed so you can keep it in your trousers...

So...Fancy a game of pocket snooker?
