Hello,
I'm Helen, 25 years old from Dublin, Ireland. I currently work in a library restoring historic maps, but as of this Friday, i will be jacking that in to go travelling, starting with Burning Man
I've been spinning poi for a couple of years now, and playing with a fire wheel (thanks Squarefish!). I lurked for ages on HOP because i was shy
but recently i've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the other Irish spinners who post here, and i've realised what i was missing out on by not getting to know more of you lovely people 
I'll be camped with the Paddy Mirage at Burning Man, so please come over for a pint if you're around!
Hope to meet more of you (and pick up a few tricks
)

According to the festival website, there will be poi workshops etc happening throughout the weekend. There's always been a lot of spinners at any juggling convention that i've been to previously, so i'm sure there'll be plenty around.
You getting tempted to go yet?
