so ... everyone is playing the word game and the either/or game and so on and so on . i thought that maybe we could try the geography game ...
this is how it works , you post the name of a town or some place of well knowen geographical location ,
for example , killimanjaro ...... answer : tanzania
it doesnt have to be a capital or anything just a town/place that you could commonly find on a map . then the next person posts the country of that town and for bonus (if you can) post the state or province of the town/place
i know my geography isnt that good so lets see what happens ...
here goes , ill start .... with an easy one ... southern most point of africa ?
have fun ... i hope this game becomes as popular as the others

there is a country recognised as being the source. it may initially be lake victoria, but the river leaves the lake at some stage, at the point where it enters one of the surrounding countries......

hey i thought this was a geography game ? who the hell is going to know who has the most density of chemical whatever ???
and for the record , zimbabwe is the world capital of white water rafting ... during august they river becomes a death wish , turning out 5 class 5's within less then 10km .

The river rafting is actually down the Zambezi river, Homemade. The river splits Zambia from Zimbabwe, so you are going down both. Different rafting companies stop on different sides of the river for lunch breaks though. The larger rapids are at the beginning of the journey (you can start just after the falls in the off season) so most isn't country specific. And yes, going down the river is quite an experience...One I highly recommend at that.
As far as the chemical refineries...yes, that does have to do with geography. It specifies a location, and what that area is known for. You learn about stuff like that in geography class as well, don't you?

yea , i knew the river split the countries , and i know the begining is the big deal part of the river , i know the both zambians and zimbabwiens run the river . zimbabwiens have been doing it for a very long time and the first company was based out of zimbabwe . that is why we always said that that part (this is unofficial obvcourse) the upper part was zimbabwe and the lower part was zambian .
yes i do know that the refineries have to do with geographical loction , however i did try to design the game so that just about anyone could play . i personally felt that that question was projected to a specific audience , instead of a general one .
i appologise if i have offended , that was not my intention , but just to keep the game heading in a direction that was applicable to everyone ... i will try to hold my tounge next time ...

right, there's a sierra nevada mountain range in the US. i think it's in california, but it may run into adjoining states too. lake tahoe is there.

actually I answered the swaziland question from having actually been there, so no google involved there.
