I gave a presentation today on cyberspace and one thing I said was "the internet is massive, but it's difficult to imagine where this mass exists"

People can create worlds for themselves online and we all hear of internet potatoes... hell we have one on here! waves at pounce wink

I was wondering what your world for HoP looked like....

(Let your imaginations run wild)

Mine's a humungous mix of different snippets of beautiful landscapes from all over the world... you've got narr's gorgeous pictures, the eiffel tower with someone spinning just infront of it... Lot's of people spinning in a green area between sky scrapers and lots and lots of beaches... and rocks to climb over/up...

Mainly when I think of HoP I think of a lush island with lots of waterfalls and rocks and bugs too and coconuts and white sand beaches to spin on and cabins with mossy nets to sleep in and surf boards and lots of people with poi and staff and diablo and juggles and so on and so forth

(P.S - for worriers, I can accept this place does not exist except in my head and I like it there)

HOP to me is a sort of comune/village where there are public spaces (the main Social boards), gyms and studios (the moves boards), and private houses/flats (the intro threads). And a clinic(the help threads ubblol ).

It's full of chill, cozy spaces for hanging out, much like my student co-operative house that I lived in at Stanford. I miss that place...

But I love HOP. hug ubblove kiss peace

uve summed it up really! although there would be NO arguments and rubbish like that. race/religion/sexual-preferance wouldn't matter. the whole place would be diversly apt. all the toys you ever needed/wanted would be there to hand. and there would be all the clever people there, that i look up in awe to, to teach everybody stuff. and everybody would respect each other
*claps for herself for using a clever phrase like 'diversly apt' (although she dosnt think she spelt it right)*

I see something not to disimilar to what Lightning said.

I see a little village - kind of medieval looking (i dont know why it just it ok ubbangel) with little private homes (intro threads), big open spaces (poi/staff moves), village community centre (social), and a big castle where Malcolm lives. ubblol

i see it as the way people set up their intro threads. the lovely chateau from spitfire, a house o' fun (read: dungeon and whatnot so wonderfully built by regyt) from my thread, a lovely rock and sandcastle in gnor's place, etc. and i see something very similar to the kent parties for the social arena.

hmmm, never gave it a whole lot of thought before. i think i'm gonna have to think about this more.

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Like pounce, I see it as a collection of landscapes as they are set up in people's threads.

I love hopping from the chateaux to Mand's thread for cake, then on to ponce's to see what kind of fun's going on there, etc.

It's a cool amalgamation of places and people. biggrin
