Time to redo my intro, maybee I'll do it right this time.
Name: Cody Canon
Location: Reno Nevada and Black Rock City two weeks a year
Age: 25
Story: I was a Competitive Gymnast for 8 years untill I broke my back in 1997. Extreme bordom, a little insanity and a Renassaince Fair lead me to Juggling. I started with contact juggling then moved in to every other juggling prop known (or so it seems). I was founder and president of the University of Nevada Reno Juggling club untill I graduated. Juggling lead to fire props like devil sticks and torches. A frend gave me my first set of poi from their trip to Austraila. Right about that time I met Dave King. Dave had learned fire staff at Burningman. Together we founded the fire group Controlled Burn. Controlled Burn has been in charge of wrangling all 625 fire spinners for the performance the night of the burn at Burningman since 2002. We also take the beating from the other 1400 fire spinners at Burningman who want to be in the inner circle performance. My cohorts and I namely my brother Cory (Evil Twin) and Dave King specailize in making fire props and inventing new props such as the fire fan staff ( 85% wick) the testies ( basketball sized fire ball at the end of a chain), Canon balls (Poi the size of vollyballs), the Canon staff (basketball sized balls at the ends of a staff), and this year my creation the Fire Flag (you guessed it 3.5 square feet of wick at the end of a chain). This year the night of the burn we were accused of sporting a "vulgar desplay of fire." We've been around for about 6 years now and we have made our mistakes and learned from them. I have a lot of experience to share and I can't wait to learn more from all of you.
Education: BS in Biology, minors in Chemistry and Biochemistry
Job: Corporate Purchasing for a 3 hospital System
Props: any and all
Other Hobbies: Rock climbing, Skiing, Hunting, Fishing, Paintball
Oh and some shameless promotion: Everybody in California come to the Damento Juggling festival in Sacramento febuary 7th. I'm teaching Poi and Cory's teaching staff and double staff. Afterwards were teaching a fire saftey class. Please come and teach me something new.

Ahhhh help I'm being hijacked. It's my year anaversery with my girlfriend and she's taking me to Las Vegas to see "O". I've never been hijacked before, it's kind of cool.
Paintball arround here this time of year is called rock ball, it's a little too cold to be paint
Where's pink? I havn't had to defend my position on the color yet.

Yep, I think you met my brother. There was a guy in the fire safety class quoting AMA views on putting cold compresses on burns who kind of looked like you in your pictures, but it wasn't you. He said you shouldn't put cold compresses on burns because the shock can kill you? If that's true I should be dead many times over.
