these leds are as bright as flashlights, even brighter than flashlights (electric torches)

Anyone making glow poi should use these.

these are the kind where light trails last for like a minute

i've spun glowsticks with these in the ends, and, well, imagine two 60 watt bulbs on the ends of poi.

GET THEM... they should be put in beamers.

sounds fuckin cool, only problem i can see is then need 1 full amp of current to get that bright, so you'd need quite a battery back to last for a night.

Ive made a few LED poi using the Luxeon emitters. You have to be a bit carefull in designing a good heatsink around them to make sure they dont burn out.
