Hugs to you Miss Hels hug- you were missed Friday night.

Inner Peace
I am passing this on to you because we all need inner peace.
By following the simple advice I read in an article, I have finally found inner peace.

"The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've
started."
So I looked around the house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished.... and before coming to work this morning I have finished off a bottle of Bacardi, a bottle of red wine, a bottle of Jim Beam, my Prozac, some valium, a large box of chocolates and 2 litres of Stella Lager, a ½ bottle of cider, a vegetarian lasagne for two and some cheese.
Ypou hvae no ideaa how bolody gerat I fleel rgiht aobuut now........You myay wnat to psass tihs on to aynmoe yoiu feeel isin needof smome InenPoeace
wink

Come faeries, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame.

joke for you lady to cheer you up!

Written by:

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder.

John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed.

Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said, "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions.

I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

***An open letter to the New Improved Princess Palace.***

Dearest Hels and Bam,

Last summer I had the pleasure of staying at the New Improved Princess Palace (NIPP) and have yet to formally thank the management for an absolutely wonderful time. As you know, my utterly warm and welcoming stay at the Original Old Princess Palace (OOPP) two and a half years ago was my introduction to the UK HoP scene. My fabulous stay at the OOPP begged the question "How could they possibly Improve?" And yet, after just under a week at the NIPP, my question was answered.

The NIPP was spectacular. The staff was courteous, attractive and well groomed. The palace was spaceous and welcoming. The management quickly resolved any problems and even provided live entertainment in the form of "Coleman" when they were unavailable. The activities planned were both fun and educational and even the weather cooperated.

When I returned before my departure, despite being overworked and exhasuted, the staff once again stepped up to the chalange welcoming both me and a discrete 'guest'.

I sincerely thank the greeters, hostesses, administration, management, janitorial staff, cooks, waiters, waitresses, entertainers, teachers, audiovisual crew, chauffeurs, and female escorts at the New Improved Princess Palace.

I applaud you for a job well done and look forward to my next opportunity to be your guest.

With Sincerity and Love,
Mr. NYC

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.
[They do not move.]

Thanks Mr NYC. You get the prize for making me laugh at 16.52 on a wednesday afternoon! biggrin

Mr Bluecat and Miss P were in residence at the NIPP over the weekend biggrin And according to Mr Bluecat, the old Palace wasn't OOPP (Original Old Princess Palace kiss), but OCPP (Old and Crap Princess Palace spank) rolleyes

We are currently installing a new 'reservation system' (i.e Internet access at the NIPP!!!!!), and will be in touch with guests on a more regular basis once the testing phase has been completed.

ubblove to you and Miss Molly...I understand her visit to the big apple was quite lovely ubblove

Good to meet you at the weekend!

I did something last night I've not done in ages. I went to the spinning meet and picked up a stick (of my own accord) and was playing & throwing it to my hearts content. It was good. Throws kick ass!

does that not suggest that the company you wanted to move to are actually *against* company loyalty...?

suspicious feedback from the agency there miss bells but don't let it stop ya - if the cv is good and you interviewed well, it shouldn't be long till you find a move that is right for you hug2
