Hey Everyone...
Just a few quick words to say hi and to introduce myself a little..
Well, im a 21 year old female who lives in Brisbane Australia but hails from Masterton in New Zealand..
I have been playing sticks for the past 7 months now, my friend Allie taught me and I love her for it. My fav toy is the short staff, although I have recently bought a new stick that has a lot more length on it and its been interesting to use the two... I also use poi and devil stix and can juggle like a demon...not... I work for an insurance company by the day but during my spare time I work in a lot of mystic fairs doing readings with tarot and palms and auras and such...My fav book is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson...and also a book Im reading at the moment called "Crossing Over" by john Edwards the medium guy off the telly... The highlight of my life to date was running into The Tea Party after their brisbane concert and hanging out with the drummer Jeff Burrows for beers... That was great.. I saw Tool play the other night and I can say without a doubt that the concert was one of the best I had been to in a long time..go if you get the chance...![[Razz]](images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

My car got broken into, the fridge broke down and its all dumb. talk about stressful. At least my family were around for me to have a giggle with ... and flynt and rozi are life savers!!!

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

i got the fountain, the 4-beat weave almost down (i still tangle occasionally...but i think once my bruise on my arm heals i'll be able to get it), i figured out how to turn with the windmill, and a few other things that really have no names. essentially i'm getting way more at ease with my poi

I have a friend who's in Oz in February and she's looking for a place to settle down for a while in the Blue mountains. She wants to meet people to play with but she's not really an internet person. I only have a rough idea where that is and I'm wondering....is there anyone on HOP near there? I presume the actual area's huge? What would I search for in meet others or should I just post something in social?

from my understanding its quiet far outta sydney... proberly your best bet is to do the wgole meet others thing AND post it in events... that way you will get a good clue of the people around there!!!

You see, because of the christmas rush all post from the UK and even the US, and sometimes parts of NZ and Australia, all the post have been here...
