Hey everyone.

I'm a photographer from Calgary. 22 years old.
I was fortunate enough to have met a woman last summer who taught me how much fun fire spinning is, not to mention shooting it - although I have much to learn. I admit however that I still haven't lit my wicks on fire yet and that it's hard to when the weather here just sucks (unless I'm on the slopes!).
Just out of curiousity is there anyone from Canada on this site?

Hi Shutterpoi and welcome
if you want to look for spinners in your area, don't forget to use the "meet others" section here.
I think I saw you posted about meeting with Celest, right ? so probably you did not wait for me to give you tht advice
Anyway, again welcome and enjoy
looking forward to your input on HOP

Hey man, hows it all going?

Slopes??? Are you a boarder or skier? Well it doesnt really bother me, what I wanted to ask you was about the season just passed. Was it any good? I went off to Meribel last season and we had the worst snow on record. I also managed to break both arms (seperate events, one boarding the other off a kicker skiing) So im thinking of doing a season over on your side of the ocean, but I dont trust the reviews of resorts and stuff from tour operators etc.

Any help would be great!

Dont forget to bring a towel

A resounding hello to my fellow capturer of light. It makes so much sense to me to be a photographer and a fire dancer...both use light to create beauty...anyway photographing fire can be really tricky sometimes, a lot of it is just plain luck. Some of my favorite shots were happy accidents. What kind of photo work do you do, I mean aside from fire if any? I bet spinning in the snow would be really fun, and maybe make some great pics too!

Life is serious, but art is fun!
