I dont know anything about fire breathing but surely the more alcoholic of drinks, Brandy, Whisky etc could be just as effective as the fuel that breathers use?
Plus it doesnt matter really if a bit slips down your throht (sp)! You may end up a little giddy but its got to be better than swallowing fuel!!
