Posted: When we were having some trouble down by the Seine trying to light up the poi with a disposable lighter, I really missed not having a windproof one.
Now, I'm looking at zippos and butanes and wondering what makes the most sense.
Posted: how do you use a battery to light steel wool? and where do you get steel wool?

Posted: you can get steel wool from a hardware store. The battery applied to the steel wool completes a current and heats the wool up so it burns (at least i'm pretty sure that's how it works)
