Hmm......about 10 mins from me is the Swan Valley that has oodles of wineries and breweries. i will volunteer to go out this Ruesday and scope.
Wombat hugging and Roo feeding is covered in one spot. Snorlkeling I am told is awesome but actually havent made it yet. Cant sort a croc attack for you, you might have to go further North. Maybe snorkle on the Great barrier Reef!

Doc - you definitely want to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. Take the QuickSilver cat out there - it's not the cheapest thing in the world, but it's one of those experiences you can't do just any old where. https://www.quicksilver-cruises.com/
While you're in the area of Cairns (or stay at the Northern Beaches - we stayed at Palm Cove https://www.cairnsconnect.com/region/palmcove.php), take the skyrail & train through the rainforest to Kuranda. Kuranda is kinda a hippy town
