I Have been lurking round these parts for quite a while and figure its time i did one of these thingies to say Hello all you HOPers!!
Name: Daniel Gunthorpe (Da G <---ohhh clever right?)

Occupation(s): Student of Circus Arts. ohhh haven't seen it written down like that before (sounds so pompous )
Favourite Food(s): Free
Favourite Colour(s): green and brown
Toys: poi, staffs in all sizes and uses; contact, juggling, doubles. SHOULD be curved staffs as well but the damn post office lost my Bugeng in transit. devil sticks, clubs.. ish. Basically I'm an obsessive manipulator.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Lots of stuffs, getting into mycology at the moment. Great fun.
Education: Failed 2 years of uni to learn how to spin. Now studying it
Favourite ice cream flavour(s): Vanilla. Its so great that everything else trys to be great by associating with it. Cookies and cream? No! Cookies and vanilla. Hokey Pokey? No! Hokey and Vanilla.
Plans for life in general: I have this crazy idea, I think that poi / staff etc are amazing tools of expression and I can see them being used as dramatic devices to tell stories ... wait that’s not new... I want to put the fire arts (with and without fire) on stage and create fire theatre...also not that new... I plan to spin... alot
ohhh and see everyone (whos going) at Uber OZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woot only a week away !!!!!!!! 
and Vegemite on toast, Nutella by the spoonful.

Yeah sean has really found his flow with the lunas, he has really created his own style from his contact background. Very fishtale orientated, but looks super flowy and quite trippy at times. We have been meaning to do some filming for ages but the usual story there...
Judging by the last few doofs I have been to it seems like devils are becoming alot more popular around here now.
Yeah i'm still in brissy, still working for the gov but am a supervisor now (I know...I know... I don't know what they were thinking either
). Went bush for a few months (feb-may?) and absolutely loved it. Gave me alot of motivation and ambitions, so sadly had to come back to the real world so I can actually fulfill them

Very wise decision! I'm taking week off from school for this. It Is the best spinning training I will get all year BY FAR so i figure its course related
I get in on Wednesday so i can acclimatise before the weekend ... and see parents and such.
I'm going to be staying at Brian's so expect a call and a chill before Friday
woot devilsticks (or flowersticks if we are being pedantic... and i am) are coming back!!! its about time!!!
We should get a net to play devil tennis !!! that could be epic!
You don't happen to have an old volleyball/ badminton net laying around your house do you Gabe???
