Hi to all you twirlers and HoP lovers!

I'm Malcolm's latest addition to the HoP family with my first day of work here at HoP today (Mon 16th Oct 06) and I see lots of fun ahead (as well as a huge learning curve)! I am totally new to poi so I hope I don't make too many dumb comments!

A bit about me then:

George McNeur, male, age... "enough"!

Family: wife Heather, 3 boys 12, 13, & 15.

Location - Christchurch, NZ.

working career: Electronics Engineering - 15yrs RNZAF, 6 yrs in Test/Manufacturing and 6.5 yrs network products R&D.

You can find out a teensy bit more about me/what I've done at these sites:

https://kiwisoldier.150m.com/now.htm#george

https://kiwionice.150m.com/

and my current main interest outside of work and family: https://aotearoakendo.150m.com/

So, looking forward to the journey, and meeting all you guys 'n girls.

cheers

George

I need help??? Help to run again?

My knee's crap out on me when I run these days. Probably because when I go for a run after a break from it I want to run the old trails and not happy with doing the proper short build up runs ...

"in the good old days" I could run all day up the running water and enjoyed the heck out of it. The Coast to Coast mountain run section is a jolly fine wee afternoon jaunt! and the Port Hills of Chch are a great wee playground for a couple of hours of jogging in the fresh air and bush.

Ooooh...they've found what they think is Blackbeard's flagship in the waters off of our coastline...I do love all the old Blackbeard stories...and I've even seen one of his homes that was in Bath, NC...a very lovely area...
