I've been looking for them for a while here, but I think the heat may have them in hiding. Any help on sightings?

Anyway, hi, I'm brand new to this whole thing, and struggling to find my way around. Can you tell? This could possibly be the BEST website in the whole of cyberspace though.....

Peace and chocolate,

Chelle

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

OK guys, here's a little update!!

Name: Chelle (AKA chelly, chellybean, smelly, oi! or anything else that comes to mind....)

Location: highlands, scotland

Hometown: Nairn

DOB: 12 Dec 1981

Age: 24

Sex: Huh, huh, huh, you said sex.......

Occupation(s): daydreaming fairy

Favorite Food(s): ooo, does peanut butter count?

Favorite Color(s): purple, red and blue - oh yes, and I like green and yellow and orange and pink........

Toys: poi (duh), guitar, bucket and spades....

Hobbies other than the obvious: Music. Any form, any time. Festivals, paddling, climbing trees (if I don't fall - and even sometimes when I do..), dancing, making jewellery, travelling. My guitar and cameras are fun too.

Education: Was OK thanks. Did quite well.

Favorite Book(s): Catch 22. Also all Oor Wullie annuals!!!

Favorite Movie(s): Leaning towards A Night At The Roxbury at the moment. And of course, Amelie.

Favorite TV show(s): South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, Prison Break, Big Love, CSI, anything on National Geographic..

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I'm not going to grow up. But maybe complimentary therapies.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Oh lord, this wouldn't fit into a novel. I love music. Period.

Favorite ice cream flavor(s): Why do I have to make such tough decisions? Um, either cherry or pistachio.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.) What does vegemite taste like? I've never tried it. Likewise with marmite. I like nutella though, it's well tasty.......

woo hoo!!!!! Now you know all about me - it's your turn!!

His spelling is atrocious too. Sometimes it takes me ages to figure out what the hell he's on about. He should come with a translator I reckon. smile

I think perhaps he's misunderstood the term "over the rainbow" ubblol Not sure about the Hannibal reference though. Or why he's lumped those pictures together.... but erm I was more concerned by the strange growth on Stuart's chin...

I was a bit worried about the Hannibal pictures myself. D'you think there's something he's not telling us?

It's a fairly safe bet that if he was a sociopathic murderer he wouldn't have told us I reckon... I don't know that much about serial killers, but I'm pretty sure they keep things like that to themselves...

Umm I believe he thought that the chap would have been a welcome addition to their band of fellows. But he turned out to be a bit less mental than the rest of them... Some kind of more rigorous screening process would have helped methinks...

Maybe along the lines of: Do you like children?Do you own a hammer? Are you stark staring mad?Do you enjoy driving out on to the moors and burying stuff? Are you likely to run off and tell the police if we invite you out on a killing spree?

I nearly felled off my seat laughing there!!!

Was it not an older (well, around 19 I thinks) gay-boy that was the last on the list? Some guy he picked up in/around some club? I've got a book about it at home...in fact I've got lots of books about serial killers. biggrin

Is this the screening process you used to use? To join the ranks of hatchet-waving maniacs? wink hug

Umm no, but it's eerily similar to the application form to become a cardinal in the Church of Cantus... Although question 2 was:

Can you play a saw and are you any good at balloon modelling?

Chelly, have you ever checked out the crime library?
It has a really great section on serial killers all the way back to Elizabeth Bathory and Bella Kiss! It's one of my faves and came in very handy when I had to write my first paper on my chosen major for my coursework.

Here...check it out...

Umm ok well my current cardinal can do balloon tanks and other such things... So if you can better him, then the job's yours ubblol

no pressure rolleyes

Even Bov seems to forget his responsibilities. He wanted the post as he fancied himself a bit of a Cardinal Richelieu... and, as far as I know, he hasn't plotted to kill/overthrow me once since his ordination... Unless he's really, really, really subtle...

Miss Clavey, Bovril is an amazingly wonderful person. You'd love him.

Everybody does. It's really hard not too. And he can work wonders, you wouldn't believe, with a roll of duct take too ubblol

One of my favourite memories of him - not that he's dead or anything eek he's alive and well and living, for want of a better word, in High Wycombe - is finding him in the kids field at Glastonbury, lying on his back whilst a giant inflatable ball was continually rolled over him biggrin I've never seen him so happy. And it meant that if we ever lost him then we were fairly assured we'd be able to find him

Although he did also spend an ungodly amount of time in the circus tent watching Jay Gilligan.. rolleyes

I have some video footage of Mr Chutney and I'm not sure who else dueling with, erm, phalluses Bov-crafted from balloons attached to the groins. Each trying to burst the other's using lit cigarettes fitted into the end of their latex appendage...

biggrin

Fun for all the family.

hey chells!

Just dropping in for a quick sticky beak. How's things going for you over there?

Things are great here. It seems the drought will break shortly, and I'll finally be allowed to wash my car. We're on Level 4 restrictions at the moment, which means no washing cars, definately no using a hose, can fill a bucket to water pots plants every second day etc. So yeah, farmers having a much harder time than us in the city, for sure, but it will be nice to get back to normal.

It's raining here today biggrin Actually, it has rained briefly around the city throughout the drought, except never where our water catchment dams are. Tsk!

D'you think that if we dug a hole straight through the earth then Australia could have some of Scotlands (more specifically - the Highlands) water, and we could have some sunshine (and possibly temperatures above 3 celcius)? Just a thought......

The rain was somewhat disappointing i thought, being as it was something of an antithesis of itself - what's that largish yellow burning globe that hangs in the sky called? That kept showing up and interrupting the deluge - maybe it will rain more consistently when you come play. Then we can get truly soaked biggrin

Are you grinning for any particular reason honey? ubbangel

The sun. that's it. I knew it had a snappy title. I's not sure if it had a hat on. It was wearing a dress made of dirty grey, wispy, fluffy things though.

I've still had no replies about time machines as yet. I think I needs to invest in a better class of friends. Or hang round with more temporal physicists...

As for the hovercraft - my brother suggested starting with some hairdryers and tarpaulin. I'm not entirely sure that it'll work....ubbidea maybe I should ask my dad? He did physics sort-of-stuff at some point I think. Even if he didn't, he's very clever. hug

Well I was going to take 2 of the air-blowy-fan-room-heatery things to pieces and start from there. Plus I has some rubber sheeting stuff in the garden, that is meant to be used to stop weeds growing through paths, that I figured would make go skirt material for it...

I'm sure your dad is busy enough working on the time machine (with Mr Point?), will he mind taking on the hovercraft project too?

Plus, if we subcontract all these things out, whatever will we do with all our spare time whilst you're here?
