It is a shame for the child that he has been turned into a media circus prop.
While it may be a rarity and rather unsual I feel it is wrong that his parents have allowed such attention around a baby so young, regardless of any unusualities there may be with him.
I hope that they can do their best to allow him to lead a full and happy life though

As far as I could make out from that article, neither of his left arms work particularly well, so they're unlikely to be that useful.
However, they give lots of fuel for both the media circus surrounding him and for the horrible people who I'm sure will try to make him feel like a freak at some point in his life

I think a little bit of blessed, but a lot more of cursed.
As far as I could make out from that article, neither of his left arms work particularly well, so they're unlikely to be that useful.
However, they give lots of fuel for both the media circus surrounding him and for the horrible people who I'm sure will try to make him feel like a freak at some point in his life
. But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Steaks, I doubt if the parents had much choice about the media coverage... things like that are matters of (national) pride in medicine, unfortunately. I'm sure the parents like most just want their baby to be healthy and happy!
By the way, the article I read about him said he hurt when you touched either of his arms, which is why I went for cursed. It's probably why they took one off earlier than usual, too (they went for the top one in the end). And apparently he had two individual shoulder joint thingies on that side
I hope they'll give him all the help he needs to use his one left arm well!

i would say he is cursed only because if they had left the 3rd arm he would never have been accepted in society...
