My friend and I were having this discussion the other day. High adventure on the seven seas or unmatched stealthy skill? Which would you prefer to be and why?

i went for pirate, more theatrical....they both get to dress up, but as a ninja you've only got one option really - tight black!
also, you have to be pretty strict as a ninja, but if you were a pirate you could just take off & follow your own rules.
i thought it was gonna be a 'who would win' question....in that case i chose ninja hads down.

This comic has a very persuasive arguement for pirates.
Plus, sneakily killing someone doesn't have quite the same ring as a good keel-haulin' or plank-walkin'
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

It's well known that they are extraordinary swordsmen, so I don't know why you would say they have "no real skill"

I had a shopping cart, he had throwing skittles, hilarity ensued.
