10 years? Must be a big head... hug

I'm just ASSUMING that's what he's doing. Logically, the opposite of sorting out your head is keeping in regular close contact with the ex, so since he's not doing that sorting out his head is a possible answer. ubbloco

That's not good then anyway. My zoology prof always said that, if undecided between two men, a woman should go for the one with the smaller head, because that means less pain when giving birth.

Thank you all (and those who pmed or abused the discussions forum, too!!)

bounce

It's sunny. New job's going well. Bristol has great sandwich shops. I got a free pastry with my coffee (which goes just a tiny bit against the claim I made on another board 2 days ago that I could easily live without butter). Have I said that it's sunny? And I'll bake lots of cake tonight for the weekend!!

To the changed-name-person, not sure about PLAY yet. Definitely Southern Lights and maybe the EJC. All depending on holiday allocations (going to Finland in July already for a week...).

Pogo - sisters suck. I'd know about that, being one! smile

In less than 24 hours I'll either be a doctor or very sad. Please someone tell me that I'll do fine. I'm just after some light-hearted attention. If anyone's free around 2 pm GMT tomorrow cross every available bodypart and juggling/spinning equipment, please.

I'm a doctor now!! It went really well, the viva went on for ages but I wasn't actually worried once. It felt quite unreal, for the first 15 minutes or so I was sitting in the room thinking, that can't possibly me MY viva NOW. I'm still asleep or something.

I bumped into my supervisor and both examiners just before the viva, and they all made it fairly obvious that there was nothing to worry about, so all the probing and grilling were not getting to me too much. Only when it was over I felt like I was going to start crying every second (I didn't, thankfully).

Got lots of drinks bought for me in the pub, but since I can still type it was probably just the right amount. And within an hour of becoming a doctor a taxi driver asked me about his health issues (no, not THAT kind of doctor... wink)
