Ooooh, replies! Thanks guys thankx

Will try and answer all your questions in one post...

Hugs for Kit will be done next time I see her. (and thanks for the hugs for me, too!!)

Falmouth... hmmm... might be my family's first visit to Scotland over Easter, but if not I'll see if I can make it, sounds like fun from what I've read.

Pink. Hmmm. I like bright pink, but not pastel pink. Pink Panther is very cool, too cool

And I've been juggling for... ummm... I shouldn't really say that! I think I started something like 10 years ago with 3 balls, and then kinda kept losing interest and taking it up again but never properly. Probably due to lack of other jugglers in my small town and due to expressions of awe on people's faces when I did simple stuff with 3 balls! Joined juggling society last September, so now all's good and I have lots of people showing me stuff. Should shut up though, knowing myself I just might lose interest or get fascinated by other shiny things again in a few months! rolleyes

I've owned some juggling balls for 10 years. Does that count?

I haven't dropped them once in all that time though. I've found if you keep them in a drawer they don't get the chance. Odd how no one else seems to ever have thought of it.

Could've saved a lot of jugglers an awful lot of effort....

Yes everyone, listen to Kit's warning, cause if you're not nice to me I'm sure she'll take some kind of evil revenge. Won't you, Kit? Pleeeease??? biggrin

Molly, your mole is really cute but not quite as cute as my penguin. ubblove

Hello Flame Boy and Cantus! I'm sure having the juggling balls for 10 years does count, after all, I had clubs for 6 years and didn't start using them until last October, apart from hitting the odd person with them spank

Mikey, you've obviously not seen me trying to do staff-things, but if your post is supposed to be an offer to teach me once you're back in Edinburgh, thanks a lot! hug

And finally Sparkey!! Hmmm... I'm sure I have been anti-hated before, just not consciously! But keep feeling honoured, I like it when people feel like that because of me ubbrollsmile

oo, you have a penguin?
I have three

one from the penguin biscuit people
one apparently from the mafia
and one rescued from a haggis factory (don't worry, the penguins are just involved in the advertising, not the making of the haggis)

I have lots of penguins, though most of them had to stay back in Germany because my room is very small! I've been collecting them ever since I was 6 or 7 years old biggrin

Thanks Mikey, hope you don't get frustrated easily... though Joseph's "BUTTERFLY! SEAL! NOT MOTORBIKE!!" technique seems to have worked a little bit...

And unfortunately I don't have a real penguin, just a fat pigeon sitting in the flowerbox. The boy from the X-Files (Dave whatsitagain????? Du-something!!) tried to get a real penguin once, and the animal protection people told him he'd have to have at least one cold room in the house for it. Given that the flatmate's chronically feeling cold, the kitchen's mostly overheated from cooking, washing and drying and the bathroom should REALLY REALLY not be cold that only leaves my little bedroom. And it would ruin my bass and my guitar and make the chocolate freeze. Hmmm. No. no real penguins though I'd love one.

I have a pigeon-startling kit should you need it. It comes with three settings:
loud mass startling
localised startling
covert startling

It's really very good smile

So far the flatmate's hitting the window and shouting at the pigeon have been sufficient, but I'll get back to your offer if it gets worse biggrin
