heh, from my past experience in just lurking in the discussion rooms i gathered. that people named their different toys. my favourite was the threesectional staff.. that...mmm was named Hurty...

Any ways the names for my staffs finally came to me. The double staffs are called Castor and Pollux. Pollux always ends up in my right had...although they look feel exactly the same ...hmmm

any way the longer single staff has been monickered The Felonious Monk. And no, thats not any reference to a member of the catholic priesthood.

heh. fire.heh.

I've got a set of clay filled monkeyfist poi that I've named 'The Nutcrunchers' due to what happens to every male who gives them a spin

I've not named any of my other toys, but if I had to, I'd probably called them all Geoff, so I only had 1 name to remember

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

I have two different lengths of chain whip, a rope dart, three staves (or staffs if you're Cantus and refuse to use the proper plural) and a set of poi. All of which are called "Bob", exept for the poi which are complete bastards that I call "bloodyannoyingfuckheadtwatface Bob"

I don't like my staff much, so he doesn't have a name. My pois (who are also male, although the last set were female), don't have names because I can't tell them apart.

I've thought about naming them "gemini" but that's just too unoriginal.

"Chip'nDale" has occurred to me, though, as a possibility. But then I wonder what that says about me...

I just got my beamers yesterday, and while I haven't named them yet, I already have enough bruises that I now ritually sing "goodness, gracious, great balls of bone-cracking PVC plastic" whenever I pick them up.

my fire friends, the whole point of giving them a name is so that you can address them when they whisper commands to you in he middle of the night.

my crazy poi staff is going to be called Knives in honor of the trigun character. i call it knives because it can be so damn brutal on some "filthy humans" who dont know what they are dealing with. No to mention it is quite badass, 4 wicks on the staff of 2.5 in kevlar each wick also being 2.5 feet, a foot of chain for each poi with a 4in wick made of 2.5 feet kevlar. It IS well mean. i still have another lighter staff to name, some swinging clubs, and a set of chains.

I call me double staff "black" and "blue". Although considering the injuries that my poi have inflicted on unsuspecting males who borrow them, maybe I should transfer the name. Perhaps I will just call my poi "hurty" and "ouch"

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...

i think it's a great idea that something you love should score a name. I have a lovely relationship with em if i there is mutual respect.

Not officially named but "Evil Bastard Things!" is normally how they get addressed

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

Iallway's call them poi, I don't really like giving names to tools. Same thing go's for swords and knives, they are tool's and not your comrades.
But hey, who cares about me eh?

for the shortest time I had a pair of cheap rope darts I called razor and blade (hackers anybody? ) However I bought them while in another country and they couldn't make it back through customs (right after 9-11, didn't want to risk anything seeing as I look "arab" to airport secerity )

I don't really have any names for my cathedrals, though I once called them fluffies, they're soo soft and loveable The beamers don't have a name period, though I can tell them apart, one had an unfortunate collision with a countertop.

On a slight tangent, I just want to say that spinning fire is one big step, but spinning home-made wicks is another huge leap. I'm really pleased with mine.
