Has anyone seen the movie Latter Days? Great movie!
It's about this gay guy in LA who seduces a Mormon missionary, but it's not as horrible as it sounds. It's actually really poignant, in that way that many gay movies are about the issue of coming out and being thrown out of your world in the process.
It deals with a lot of the issues that young gay men coming out of the closet face.
But there are some HOT guys in it, too.

I've noticed that some of the most fervent and out-of-touch ideologies start with very poorly-written books. Examples:
Mein Kampf and Nazism
Scientology and Dianetics and Scientology
The Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I actually respect the LDS church on a lot of issues. In general, the Mormons I've met and worked with were wonderful, kind people. They live very healthy lifestyles (no coffee, no alcohol, no drugs) and believe very strongly in the importance of family.
The religion is totally not for me, but it does have its good points.

Another good gay themed movie is " All over the guy.". If you have not seen it lightning then i highly recommend you watch it. T'is uber good!

yeah so much so that when my gran was dying my aunt and uncle (mormans) spent the whole day in church praying for her soul, instead of seeing her to say goodbye
she was asking for all her children and when they were there she kept asking for him, she died feeling he'd abandoned her and he turned up at the funeral and said he was more useful to her praying at church for her soul to be let into heaven
I was brought up christian and THAT pissed me off! You go to say goodbye, so they die happy, not tormented!

Not a bad movie, I enjoyed it. Another one I like was "The Trip", a love story that spans over 10 years begining in the 70's, a cool movie for the historical setting plus the characters are cute
