Is Disclosure Scotland something to do with needing official approval to teach / work/ be alone with children?

Um, we have that system here too...called a Blue Card. So in case we get under 18's at UberOz, Rob, be assured that I have one... it's been very useful for luring them to my flensing deck...

it is indeed. and they're arseholes.
every time you might work with kids, the employing grroup(i.e council, school, whatever) has the right to ask for a new disclosure form, which the teacher has to pay for.
i've been lucky and only had to get 2 this year. one of my colleagues has been got 7 times! thats £100 cause midlothian council doesn't beleive that someone already diclosed three times, and previously disclosed FOR THEM might be reasonably trustworthy and not go out kiddie fiddling in the intervening two weeks!

isn't flensing what you do to whales if you are evil and mean??

i want a new brain please

sorry for not replying gabe, i'm trying to get my head around how to pry money from the sottish arts council for travel to aus and move house and office at the same time.
hmmmmmm.

hugs

We only have to get one every few years from teh state govt and it's recognised everywhere...

And yes flensing is exactly that! WELL DONE! One of my little jokes. There is a holiday resort just offshore here that has a kiddies play area at the old Flensing Deck. Amused me immmensely... flay, play.. hmmm....

I hae been awaaiting your reply but no worries, I've picked up on the ether that you are somewhat busy boy and maybe a bit stwessed with it? No hurry no worry this end. She'll be right mate etc. hug

And um, curiosity.. what's in it for the the Sottish arts council to send you away to Oz? Good impressions? Get rid of you for a bit?
