well its time for a pointless post really, ive just got back from holiday in cornwall, and its been great, ive been spinning everyday, spinning fire on the beach every night, met lots of cool people, spent all week hanging out with some staffy/ breakdancy people who were very cool. needless to say im now learning staff. also met some people who were amazing at poi, and have totally inspired me to learn new moves, like wraps and stalls to start with... basically i just wanted to say what a great way of socialising and meeting people poi is. id never really met any serious poi people before so the whole experience of seeing how other people spin was good....

so get out there and poi

I've just got back from Cornwall too - didn't see any other poisters at all! I did some spinning up at Lanyon Quoit and got a round of applause from some impressed onlookers tho'! Oli - I recently did some fire spinning down on Cogdon beach (near you?), I go down ther quite a bit so I'll maybe see you down there sometime!

Oli - Cogdon Beach is on the long road about halfway between Lyme Regis and Abbotsbury ( on the right if you're coming from the Lyme direction). Tis a lovely pebbley beach, nice to camp on with glo-worms and everyfink!
