How exactly do you spin off excess fuel without getting it on yourself....and does denim as fire poi heads work well?

When starting out I always had someone else spin off my props. If that isnt an option go the environmentally friendly route by securing plastic bags over the end if your wicks and spin them off. However. If it's just a few drops like what would come off I n a spin, the field evaporates very quickly. Or with my dragon I just move it around slightly while on fire instead of spinning out to burn off excess fuel. And NO denim is not safe for heads. please only use kevlar wicks. You can build your own. Watch some videos if you dont wanna fork out for prebuilts.
