A friend from san francisco introduced me to the amazing world of pois and now that it became my favourite hobby, I'd love to meet some other people to poi with and learn from! :)

Welcome to the Poi world ;) There were a few forums in Austria and a few people who met regularly thursdays at Aspernbrücke - but still a few years ago since I've been in Vienna.
In general there are a few active facebook groups:
